Uruguay and Japan will eliminate double taxation

The Minister of Economy and Finance of Uruguay and the Japanese ambassador in Uruguay signed an agreement to eliminate double taxation on income taxes and prevent tax evasion and avoidance. Japan already has significant investments in Uruguay, and these are expected to increase substantially from the entry into force of the agreement.
