The construction of Metro line three and the preparation of athletes are two of the branches in which the governments of Panama and Japan entered into collaboration agreements. During his visit to Japan last week, Panamanian President Laurentino Cortizo confirmed to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe that the National Government will continue with the Metro line three project, which will be financed with a loan of up to 2.8 billion dollars from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
