Panama began its export of pineapple to Beijing, People’s Republic of China, with the shipment of its first container of La Chorrera. The head of Agribusiness of the Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA) increased that pineapple exports will double from 25 to 50 containers per month in 2021.
