Representatives of the country members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) debated accelerating the negotiations of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), which is to be concreted by the end of the year 2020. The general secretary of the ASEAN, Lim Jock Hoi, asked for an acceleration of the elaboration and revision of the documents that will be presented in the negotiations of the RCEP, which, he noted, is a theme prioritized by the block.
