Shein and Temu are raising concern in the fashion industry due to the low prices at which they sell their products, which turns them into an option for some Mexican consumers. However, according to the point of view of the entrepreneurs, they represent a threaten for the national industry.
The representatives of the industry, clothing and footwear textile chambers asked the fiscal and international authorities to establish regulations in order to guarantee these platforms pay for the import taxes on merchandise.
