According to the Ministerio de Producción Comercio Exterior Inversiones y Pesca, the agreement provides the access to the Chinese market for 99,6% of the current Ecuadorian goods in immediate or under 10 years tax relief baskets, leveling the access conditions of the Ecuadorian goods other neighbor competing countries have (Peru and Central America). Additionally, aspects related to the cooperation for investments, electronic commerce, competence, and economic cooperation were negotiated.
