The fourth round of negotiations for the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Chile and India took place from December 1 to 5 in New Delhi, with Chile’s Undersecretary of International Economic Relations, Claudia Sanhueza, visiting India.
The opening of the round was held on December 1 at the building of India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, led by India’s Secretary of Commerce, with participation from the chief negotiators of each side.
During the negotiations, representatives from the Chilean private sector actively engaged in the agenda, holding meetings alongside the Chilean Ambassador to India with various Indian business organizations, including the India SME Forum, the Confederation of Indian Industry, and the Forum of Indian Food Importers.
