The 2026 Dossier of the Latin America – Asia Pacific Observatory is now available, a publication that brings together the trajectory, objectives, and main achievements attained by this space of academic and institutional cooperation.
Created by ALADI at the end of 2011 with the support of ECLAC (CEPAL), the Observatory has consolidated itself as a reference space for the analysis of economic relations between Latin America and the Asia-Pacific. The dossier presents a synthesis of the activities developed between 2014 and 2026.
Throughout these twelve years, this space has fostered a high-level technical and academic dialogue through seminars that brought together 140 speakers and more than 2,500 attendees from 15 countries, in addition to the publication of 13 books and various working papers, alongside the implementation of learning capsules and courses.
With prioritized thematic areas ranging from trade facilitation and SMEs to exchanges in technological innovation, the 2026 Dossier reaffirms the Observatory’s commitment to the generation and dissemination of knowledge to strengthen economic ties between Latin America and the Asia-Pacific.
