The agreements signed by Bolivia and India in the field of health will allow it better to look after the cancer patients in Bolivia. Appointments were confirmed for the business conference between Bolivia and India

More than 100 appointments were confirmed for the business conference between Bolivia and India. The presence of at least 40 entrepreneurs of New Delhi was announced for the exchange with 150 Bolivians in the installation of the chamber of industry, commerce, service and Santa Cruz tourism. Moreover, it was specified that the representatives of those sectors such as mining and pharmaceutical industry confirmed their presence in the business conference.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay, Rodolfo Nin Novoa, highlighted the importance of the trade relations between Uruguay and China, a country that is the main trade partner within the framework of the visit of the Vice-Premier of China, Hu Chunhua, to Uruguay. He considered that this kind of instance is fundamental to deepen the relations between both countries. On trade matters, he stated that apart from working on trade agreements and tariff reductions, there is a need to conclude agreements on phytosanitary matters that are fundamental in order to assure the market access.

Next Chinese market opening to the bovine meat

The Bolivian Government asked Chine for accreditation of the conditions and quality of the Bolivian meat industry, as the previous step to obtain the authorization for the Bolivian bovine meat, with the foot-and-mouth disease free status since 2014, to enter the Chinese market. In this regard, the Chinese Embassy in Bolivia announced that in April of this year a Chinese delegation will come in order to verify the production conditions.
