The Master’s Program in Economics and Business with a Focus on the Asia-Pacific and India at the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF) is organizing, as part of its extracurricular activities, a virtual conference titled “Confucianism and Development. The Resurgence of China and East Asia.” The event will address the validity of Neo-Confucianism in China’s economic, political, and social life, as well as its significance as a defining feature of Chinese civilization and its influence on the development of China and East Asia.
During the event, Dr. Arturo Oropeza will present the main arguments of his work and analyze the significance of Neo-Confucianism as a defining feature of Chinese civilization in the economic, political, and social spheres. The discussion will also cover its relevance as one of the factors that have contributed to the development and success not only of China but also of the East Asian region.
The event will be held virtually via Google Meet and will be open to the public free of charge. Prior registration is required to participate.
