Open Conference “Korean Culture and Bilateral Relations with Uruguay”

On November 4, 2025, the open conference “Korean Culture and Bilateral Relations with Uruguay” will take place, organized by the Institute of International Business of the Catholic University of Uruguay. The event will feature Mr. Noh Wonil, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Uruguay, as the speaker. Participation is in person and free of charge.

In 2024, trade in goods between the Republic of Korea and Uruguay totaled USD 165 billion, resulting in a trade surplus for Uruguay. In the same year, Uruguay’s imports from Korea totaled USD 153 billion, with the main imported products being Medium oils and Parts and accessories for tractors. Meanwhile, exports totaled USD 11 billion, with corn and boneless beef as the main Uruguayan products exported to Korea in 2024.
