II Latin America and Caribbean–China Development Forum: Mutual Learning in Modernization and High-Level Cooperation

The Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) organizes the II Latin America and Caribbean–China Development Forum: Mutual Learning in Modernization and High-Level Cooperation. This forum aims to further strengthen the political, economic, and cultural ties between China and the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. Distinguished regional experts and the representatives from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, will engage in discussions on these key topics: trade and investment facilitation, cooperation in both traditional and emerging industries, the development of the service sector, and global governance.

The forum, which is supported by the Andean Community (CAN) and the Institute of Latin American Studies (ILAS) of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), will be held in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual) on Wednesday, June 11, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (local time).
