Workshop “Measuring Electromobility in International Trade: the case of Electric Buses”

As part of the activities of the Latin America – Asia Pacific Observatory, the ALADI, the ECLAC, and the Escuela de Economía de la Universidad Sergio Arboleda de Colombia organized a workshop “Measuring Electromobility in International Trade: the case of Electric Buses”. Its goal was to initiate a technical discussion about the methodology of the analysis of the links between the international trade, electromobility, and value chains. Participants of the workshop: scholars and experts connected to the mechanical engineering and to the automotive sector, which tackled the traceability of the trade of parts and accessories, which constitute the value chain related to the production of electric buses, and their main clusters (electric batteries, bodywork, engines, electronic components, among others).
