Vice Minister SUN reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the cooperation between China and Cuban Customs, and made five proposals on further strengthening cooperation between the two Customs.
First, to speed up the implementation of the Agreement between China and Cuba on Cooperation and Mutual Administrative Assistance in Customs Matters.
Second, to earnestly implement the Memorandum of Understanding For Training Cooperation From 2013 To 2015 Between China and Cuban Customs.
Third, to enhance exchanges of experience on Customs operational reform and modern management.
Fourth, to actively conduct law enforcement cooperation, such as combating smuggling and commercial frauds.
Fifth, to deepen the interaction and communication in the fields of high-tech and information technology including the application of Customs inspection equipments.

Nelson Cordovés Reyes delivered the greetings from Vice Admiral Mr.
Pedro M.
Perez Betancourt, Head of Cuban Customs, to Minister YU Guangzhou and Vice Minister SUN Yibiao.
Mr.
Reyes highly appreciated Vice Minister SUN’s evaluation on the bilateral cooperation between both countries and Customs, and also made a positive response to the cooperation proposals presented by the Chinese side.
