At the meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno and Vice President Isabel de Saint Malo identified areas of bilateral cooperation that would advance relations between the two countries.
The Panamanian Vice President stressed the importance of establishing connectivity in strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Panama would host the meeting of the High-level Panel on Connectivity in April 2016 and expects support from Indonesia in a way that would encourage connectivity between the two regions.
