The mining conference, held for the fourth year in Sydney from 20 – 21 May, attracted influential business leaders, international ministers and government officials from a number of counties in Latin America, as well as Austrade’s Trade Commissioners from Peru and Brazil.
In the pre-recorded video address that opened the conference, the Hon Julie Bishop, Minister for Foreign Affairs, highlighted the important role LADU plays in economic diplomacy
especially in bringing together resources-related businesses and government officials to help progress trade and investment between Australia and Latin America.
