Vietnam has become one of the major trade partners of Argentina in the Asian Pacific

From the year of 2015, the imports of Argentina from Vietnam have grown significantly, from USD 329.4 million in 2015, reaching USD 778.2 million in 2024. This marks an increase of 136.3%, which could be considered a notable figure compared to other countries in the region.

In 2015, Vietnam was Argentina’s 8th largest supplier and became the 4th in 2023 with a rapid increase in imports. However, import values showed a decline in 2024, ranking Vietnam at the 5th. This was mainly due to the decrease in imports in sectors such as machinery and electrical appliances, as well as footwear.

In terms of exports, Vietnam has been the 3rd largest destination of sales for the last 5 years, following China and India.
