Panama prohibits the importation of pork from China and other countries affected by swine fever

The Panamanian authorities reported that they temporarily banned the importation of genetic material and any product derived from pigs from China, Russia and northern Europe to mitigate possible risks that the spread of the disease could pose for national production.
