This text aimed at analyzing the agricultural economy of China in their main indicators of production – in other words, through the discussion of the evolution of the variables which represent the productive agricultural process of the country and explanatory factors which may be correlated to its performance. Besides, taking into account the economic development scenario of the country, it was sought to characterize the environment challenges such growth imposed on the rural areas, as well as to identify retraction trends or evolution of the sustainable agricultural policies in China.
