This paper arises out from the recent interest of the Government of India to sign other Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). It is important to point out that the international trade of India with some Latin-American countries is greater if compared to traditional partners such as Japan, Russia, Thailand or Canada.
Brazil expands market access in Asia-Pacific and Eurasia through new sanitary agreements
Brazil secured new market openings for agricultural products in New Zealand and Turkey, expanding its international insertion. The agreements reflect the growing role of sanitary negotiation in the expansion of trade between Latin America and other regions, including the Asia-Pacific.
