The member economies of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC) provided guidance for future cooperation during the Final Meeting of Senior Officials (CSOM), held in Singapore to finalize the work of Chile at the head of the organization. During the meeting, it was issued that the commitment to boost investment, free and open trade, multilateral cooperation and international business based on rules, as well as stimulate the digitalized economy and the participation of women.
Brazil expands market access in Asia-Pacific and Eurasia through new sanitary agreements
Brazil secured new market openings for agricultural products in New Zealand and Turkey, expanding its international insertion. The agreements reflect the growing role of sanitary negotiation in the expansion of trade between Latin America and other regions, including the Asia-Pacific.
