During the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the China-CELAC Forum, held on May 13, the Chinese government announced a temporary Visa exemption for citizens of Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile, and Uruguay for stays of up to 30 consecutive days for travel purposes. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China confirmed that the measure will be in effect from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026.
