As the president of Singapore visited Mexico to discuss future cooperation between the two countries, bilateral trade continued to grow over the past decade.
Mexico and Singapore’s bilateral trade has shown an upward trend over the past ten years, although it remains in deficit for Mexico, and 2024 was no exception. In 2024, Mexico’s goods exports to Singapore reached USD 1.2 billion, while imports amounted to USD 1.9 billion.
In the same year, Mexico’s main exports to Singapore included machinery, data-processing units, and other technology-related products. Meanwhile, Mexico imported mounted piezoelectric crystals, integrated electronic circuits, and recording mechanisms. This reflects that the trade relationship between the two countries is primarily intra-industry in nature.
