From the Japanese side, Mr.
Yasushi Takase, Director-General of Latin American and Caribbean Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and representatives from relevant ministries attended the Dialogue.
From the Mercosur side, Ambassador Mr.
Ronaldo Costa Filho, Representative from Mercosur, Ministry of External Relations of Brazil, and representatives from other Mercosur member countries participated.
In this Dialogue, both sides exchanged the information on current situations of each parties’ actions on FTAs/EPAs and bilateral investment treaties.
They also exchanged their opinions over measures to strengthen the economic relations between two parties for example, promotion and facilitation of investment, entry of private companies, and trades.
